JR expo Paris de Women are Heroes
Back in November of 2008 I came across the large scale work of French photographer JR when I noticed his 28 millimeter Women series focusing on the Favela`s of Rio, Brazil. This time he has focused on his home city of Paris with a photographic project called Women Are Heroes. An accompanying short film is brilliantly shot and a pleasure to view.

Detail Macro Shots
Taking photos of bicycles is hard. There is so many angles to get at and so many ways for the photo to come out looking wack. These photos that were taken recently by our sometime inhouse photographer Ryan Carney are fine examples of Macro shots with all the angles covered. Bad Graffiti in the Toilet.
Kinfolks been open for over a year. In that time we got ourselves a toilet full of stickers, decals, graffiti, and ET dancing on MDMA. Its not up to this toilets grand achievement, but not bad considering its only been a year.

Play Burger
The best burgers in Tokyo just got better. Golden Brown have come out with a 4 burger take home do it yourself kit. The packaging design is amazing!. Open the box up, flip the lid and you have burger cooking instructions done manga style. Golden Brown opened their first burger shop not far from Kinfolk in Nakameguro in 2008. In September of 2009 they opened up another branch on the 3rd floor of the Omotosando Hills complex, Harajuku. When you go be sure to order their signature Golden Brown burger with smoked cheese, its to die for.
